What will I learn? The master of music degree provides advanced studies in performance, performance/pedagogy, composition (with an optional emphasis in technology), music theory, and conducting (choral, orchestral, and wind). Out of approximately 650 institutions nationwide offering master is degrees in music, the college is MM program was ranked 20th by U.S. News & World Report. Areas of emphasis in performance and performance/pedagogy include all band and orchestral instruments, guitar, harp, harpsichord, jazz, organ, piano, and voice. Each of the MM degrees incorporates studies in the major area, support courses in music electives, and thesis/recital work. The minimum credit hours required for a MM degree varies from 30 to 32 depending on the area of study. This program covers harpsichord concentration.

Entry Requirement

International Student Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree or its equivalent, in their area of specialty, from an accredited college or university; Have an undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.75. Other English Language Requirements: TOEFL PBT minimum test score of 550 points.

Vietnam Student Applicants must hold a Diploma of Graduation from a University or its equivalent from an accredited college or university. Other English language Requirements: TOEFL paper based score of 537.
